
Jim Borders resides in the Dallas area and has over 30 years experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
Jim began his career with Pillsbury working in their sales organization. He worked his way up through the organization holding various positions including Account Executive, District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager and Director of Sales Planning where he provided oversight for a $150mm sales promotion budget.
After 15 successful years, Jim left Pillsbury to join CROSSMARK, one of the top three third party sales organizations in the U.S. with over 15,000 full and part time employees. At CROSSMARK, Jim held various roles in the organization including Account Executive, Vice President and Team Leader, Division President, Regional Vice President, President and most recently Chief Operating Officer. He also served as a member of the Board of Directors and was one of the 8 stockholders in this privately held company. His experience includes sales force restructures, P+L management, training development, and the overall process of running a business. He was involved in over 55 mergers and acquisitions during his tenure at CROSSMARK. Prior to leaving CROSSMARK, Jim was the leader in CROSSMARK’s culture change to “Service Excellence.” Jim was a member of the GMA Sales Advisory Cancel and the GMA Presidents Council and has worked with numerous companies including: Smuckers, Reckitt Benckiser, Gerber, Novartis, Bristol Myers, Chicken of the Sea, Pillsbury, General Mills, Land O Lakes, Dannon, etc. His vast experience in the industry and close insights into these various companies make him a valuable resource for developing operational best practices.
