
John Rinn is an information and technology senior executive dedicated to driving results for clients through innovation and superior service. Mr. Rinn began his career with the technology subsidiary of The Nielsen Company that pioneered utilization of integrated data management and computer-based business solutions for the consumer packaged goods industry.
During his 30-year career with The Nielsen Company, Mr. Rinn lead key strategic initiatives that resulted in the development of an extensive portfolio of sales, marketing, and consumer insights applications. Harnessing the power of the Internet, Mr. Rinn’s teams designed and deployed the industry’s first web-based applications for clients’ sales, marketing and broker agencies, as well as for the manufacturers’ collaborative use with retailers.
For the majority of his tenure with The Nielsen Company, Mr. Rinn headed the National Decision Support Client Management team. Responsible for the technology deployment, training, support, and innovation initiatives of Nielsen’s North American client base, Mr. Rinn and his team consistently delivered “world class service and client satisfaction” as measured by external survey firms.
Currently, Mr. Rinn is an independent consultant working with consumer packaged goods companies in the implementation of integrated information management, reporting and market analysis solutions.
